As case numbers soar, the Federal Government wants to move away from the gold-standard PCR testing system. But the alternative — rapid take-home tests — are proving hard to find on retail shelves across the country and prices have soared.


While some countries make such tests freely available, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has flatly ruled that out. Elias Clure reports.
